I have read an article about climate change and here is the summary of it.
This article speaks about Climate Change. Since it is one of our biggest problems. It speaks about how Climate Change isn’t only about the weather getting warmer. Yet, the increase of the temperature. Which leads to more extreme weather, including wild storms and heatwaves. That means there will be more frequent droughts and wildfires, melting ice sheets etc. It will also mean that places that are wet will become wetter and dry places will become dryer. This also talks about the greenhouse effect. This is because some of the energy is trapped by gases in the atmosphere called greenhouse gases. Which are carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide are the most important ones. However without greenhouse gases, Earth wouldn’t be warm enough to support life. Towards the end of the article, it talks about some of the things that we can do. To try and tone it down. Also Jan Wright who is a Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment. Give some intake on what it means to her and how we can change.
